In short: Use the Add Files button when starting a new chat, or the + icon inside an ongoing chat to upload files.

Shipper lets you attach files directly in the chat so the AI can use them while building your app. You can upload things like screenshots, documents, CSVs, design assets, or specs.

How you upload depends on whether you’re starting a new conversation or already talking to the AI.

If you’re starting a new chat

  1. Click into the main chat box on the home screen.
  2. Press Add Files (the button right below the prompt box).
  3. Choose the files from your computer.
  4. Send your message as usual.

This is perfect when you want Shipper to read your docs from the very beginning.

If you’re already inside a project

  1. Look at the small toolbar under the chat input.
  2. Click the + button.
  3. Select Upload File.
  4. Pick your file and send it.
