What is Stripe? Why do I need it?

Stripe is a payment platform that lets you accept online payments. It handles things like:

• Credit and debit cards
• Subscriptions
• One-time payments
• Taxes and receipts

Shipper uses Stripe to power payments inside your app. And thus, Stripe is one of the world’s most trusted online payment tools!

If your app charges users in any way, Stripe is required. Shipper doesn’t process payments directly. Instead, it connects your app to Stripe so money goes straight to your Stripe account.
