When you use Shipper to build an app, you’ll notice we talk about credits.

Think of credits as the fuel that powers your builds. Every time you ask Shipper to create or change something in your app, it uses a small amount of credits.

Why do we use credits?

Building software isn’t free — behind the scenes Shipper is running AI models, servers, and sandboxes to test and generate your code. Credits make this usage fair and predictable. Instead of charging per second or per line of code, we made it simple: credits.

How credits get used

Here are some examples:

• Small changes (like “make the button blue” or “remove this footer”) use just 1 credit.
• Medium tasks (like “add a login form” or “set up a contact page”) might use a few credits.
• Advanced tasks (like “add Stripe payments” or “connect a database”) can use more credits since they’re more complex.

You’ll always see your credit balance in your account, so you know how much you have left.

How to get more credits

• Every plan on Shipper comes with a monthly pack of credits.
• If you run out, you can top up anytime.

Do credits expire?

Yes — included credits refresh every month with your subscription. Top-up packs don’t expire, so you can keep them as long as you like.
